Sinopsis
Como todavía no lo hay, y estoy segura de que hay miles de niñas, adolescentes y mujeres adultas repitiendo lo que yo viví, decidí hacer el libro que creo les puede servir".===================================================================================================== The truth is I would have loved if a book like this one had fallen into my hands when I was fifteen years old. As there was not anything like this yet, and I am sure that there are thousands of girls, teenage and adult women going through the same things I did, I decided to make this book so it will be useful to them". Claudia Palacios interviewed 83 women from all walks of life, from college students to the last survivor of the suffragist movement in the fifties, through artists, entrepreneurs, soldiers, pioneers, politicians, nuns and victims of violence, to create an authentic chorus of voices that gives an account of what it means to be a woman in Colombia today. These are shocking testimonies of the struggles they have lived, the sacrifices they have made, the spaces they have conquered and the glass walls and ceilings that we still need to knock down in order to achieve a true social revolution that will benefit both women and men.
